Quail Creek Ranch is located in beautiful North Central Idaho, about 40 miles northeast of Lewiston, Idaho. This country is rugged and beautiful and truly known to be good grass country, for ranch raised beef. For the last 20 plus years I have been raising cattle here in Idaho. Raising Angus Cattle along with my Border Collie dogs has been a wonderful lifestyle and they compliment each other very well. My cattle are Purebred Black Angus and Black Angus crosses which are chosen carefully. My cows come from home raised replacement heifers and cows purchased from local breeders who are as picky as I am about breeding, temperament, maternal traits, growth, conformation and herd health. I have no cattle here that are of unknown origin.

Quail Creek Ranch raises only natural grass fed beef, who are never given any growth implants, or antibiotics. Our herd health program has always been up to date and one of the most complete and beneficial to our cow and calf overall health and welfare. Our cows are handled in the most humane and quiet manner possible at all times. We use horses and dogs to move our cattle and they respond with thriving on a good natural environment.

Quail Creek Ranch raised beef is grass fed till yearling age, then some choice calves are kept back here at the ranch to finish for private sale. They are then put on a grain/hay ration produced from local farmers for 90 days to finish them off before processing. I have local USDA inspected facilities that I recommend for slaughter and they do an excellent job of dry aging the meat for 21 days, and cut and wrapping it to your specific wishes.

Please feel free to contact me for information on availability of ranch raised beef. Most often they are ready in the fall. Arrangements are made ahead of time to hold ranch grown beef for you whether it be a whole or half side of beef.
